BENGAL
Bengal® runs away from Puma® with excellent wild oat control at a fair price.

For use in wheat only. Do not use on barley or severe crop damage will occur.

Bengal 120 EC herbicide gives you the control you need in spring and durum wheat, with ease-of-use, tank-mixability, and a great value
in the fight against grassy weeds.

Grassy weed control: Get the same control as Puma, but at a fair price.

Return on investment: Just one wild oat plant per square foot can cause a 10% yield loss in wheat if it is one leaf stage ahead of the crop. With today’s wheat prices it pays to use Bengal and save 10% of your yield!

Group 1 mode of action: Use Group 1 herbicides in wheat and save other Groups for pulses, oilseeds and other crops.

Wide window of application: Apply to grassy weeds at the 1 to 6 leaf stage up to the emergence of the third tiller. Treatment at the 3 to 4 leaf stage of crops and weeds will maximize crop tolerance and
weed control.

Tank-mixable for one-shot weed control: It’s easy! Bengal is tank-mixable with nearly 30 different broadleaf herbicides to provide one-pass weed control.

Easy to use: Bengal is conveniently packaged in 2 x 6.2-litre cases to treat 40 acres or 99.3-litre totes that treat 320 acres (at the high rate). There are no additional surfactants or wetting agents required.

Application and Use Guidelines:

Crop staging: Apply Bengal to spring and durum wheat when the crop has 1 to 6 leaves on the main stem plus two tillers.

Target correct rates for weed spectrum: For wild oats, green and yellow foxtail, and barnyard grass, apply 312 mL/acre. For green foxtail only, use an economical rate of 156 mL/acre.

Cover ground fast: Apply in 5 to 10 imperial gallons per acre (22-45L/acre) for ground application. Apply a minimum of 3 imperial gallons per acre (14L/acre) by air.

Crop safe: For optimum crop safety, spray in warm weather with moist soil. Avoid stressful growing conditions and avoid applying within 2 to 3 days of temperatures of 3 degrees Celsius or lower. Also, avoid spraying during hot daytime temperatures.

Mixing instructions: When using a tank-mix partner, add the tank-mix herbicide first. Check both labels for further mixing instructions.

Beat the weather: Bengal is rainfast within one hour.
