New Quali-Pro Imidacloprid turfgrass insecticide competes with Merit
Calgary, AB – Makhteshim Agan of North America, Canada Limited (MANA Canada),
announces the registration of Quali-Pro® Imidacloprid 75WSP and Quali-Pro Imidacloprid
0.5G Granular insecticide for grub control in turfgrass. Quali-Pro Imidacloprid has the same
active ingredient as Merit® insecticide, and delivers proven performance and long-lasting
control of the larval stages of Japanese beetle, European chafer, and black turfgrass
ataenius, but at value pricing.

Anticipated markets include turfgrass at residences, business and office complexes,
shopping complexes, multi-residential buildings, golf courses, airports, cemeteries, parks,
