MANA adds Andrew Mann to its growing team

Calgary, AB (November 8, 2010) — MANA Canada (Makhteshim Agan of North America, Canada, Ltd.) is pleased to announce the addition of Andrew Mann to the growing Canadian sales team effective November 1, 2010. As Manitoba Area Business Manager, Mann will be working with retailers and distributors throughout the province.

“Andrew’s experience makes him a terrific addition to our sales team. We are a growing company, so having someone with a proven track record in sales, marketing and account management can only help us succeed in the competitive crop protection industry,” said Dale Kushner, MANA Canada’s Commercial Business Manager. “The companies he has worked for, and the positions he has held, speak volumes for his abilities. After a couple of years in the ethanol business, he’s looking forward to coming back to the ag industry.”

Mann returns to the crop protection business after several years working in the grain ethanol business with Iogen Bio-Products. Previously he has held distribution management, marketing, and sales positions with BASF Canada and Cyanamid Crop Protection.

“I’m thrilled to be returning to my agricultural roots and working with MANA Canada to build their business in Manitoba,” said Mann. “We have the same beliefs – always put the customer first.”

Mann graduated with a Degree in Science (Agriculture) from the University of Guelph, with an emphasis in plant protection.
